That smile right there! Priceless!

Ikechukwu arrived home 9pm one evening and his son, Jayden, in his animated state, challenged him, “Daddy, where are you coming from this late?”

Ikechukwu found a seat, took his time and explained where he had been and why he arrived home ‘late.’ Great fathers set a pattern of good behaviour. They don’t usually teach good behaviour, they just model it and live it out. And they are accountable too, even to their kids. They don’t shush them, rather they welcome their queries and provide them an environment where they can get clarity on what they may not be clear about. Ikechukwu is a FatherLikeThat.

Ikechukwu creates an atmosphere at home where his children do not live in an unhealthy fear of him. He sets a pattern and they follow suit.

We don’t say it often. We sometimes take it for granted too. But, this day we thank you for all that you do, for all that you are and for just being there through thick and thin. We thank you for going with him for football practice. We thank you for modeling how a godly man should live. We thank you for playing your role in ensuring the next generation is safe and sane. Thank you for being a #FatherLikeThat.

Thank you, Ikechukwu.
