Couple Crush Wednesday: Pastors Sam and Nike Adeyemi – Simplicity found residence in two souls.
If he is looking sharp and dapper today, don’t look too far, his wife played a significant role.
When they met 22 years ago the first thing she noticed was how skinny he looked. (You know that’s how God plants a vision in your heart. Something like, Now that I’ve shown you the situation, I need you to go and fix it!’ #Justsaying.)
She must have heard the message loud and clear because after a while she walked up to him after church service one day and introduced herself. Real woman! And that began the beautiful journey that has become a joy to behold today.
You bet, the road was rough, as in, really rough. They couldn’t get a place to start the church, they couldn’t afford the rent and they moved a lot. But they kept believing in the dream.
She trained as an architect with an MSc in Architecture from Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife, Nigeria and an MBA from Business Studies Netherlands, She further trained in Strategic Perspective for Non-Profit Management at Harvard Business School. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Researchers and Administrators of Nigeria, a member of the Nigerian Institute of Social Workers. Her dad was a professor!
She has written five books. She runs a motherless babies home and she presides over Real Woman Foundation. She’s got her hands full. But nothing else is as important to her as being an awesome wife to her husband and a great mother and role model to her kids.
He keeps it simple and real. Even the way he speaks, there’s no rush and no complexities.

Pastor Nike turned 50 yesterday and loverboy, Pastor Sam wrote,
“Happy Birthday my one and only Adenike. Welcome to the golden age of 50! I am blessed amongst all men and highly favoured to be your husband. My heart did not deceive me when it exclaimed, ‘This is the kind of girl I should marry,’the first day I chatted with you. I sure understand how Adam felt the first time he sighted Eve. I followed my heart and the rest, as they say, is history. You were designed for greatness and you carry that greatness with humility and simplicity. You radiate wiith inner and outer beauty. I am so proud of you!
Have a terrific birthday, Adenike, omoge!”
Thanks for being great role models and many thanks for impacting this generation for greatness.
I love the love you share.
