I’m not rushing down the aisle with you.
I’ve seen you happy, I also want to see you sad.
I’ve seen you jolly, I also want to see you upset.
I’ve enjoyed your largess, I’ll like to see you broke.
Your achievements are laudable, I want to see you disappointed.
I want to see you when you are stressed out. I want to see you when your meal is delayed.
I want to see you when you are frustrated, I want to see you when you’re irritated.
I want to see you when your team loses. I want to see when you are under immense pressure.
I want to see you disagree with your mum, I want to see you say No to your dad.
I will like to see you without.
I will like to see you unguarded.
I will like to see you wait.
I will like to see when things don’t go your way.
I will like to see your consistency in devotion to Him.
I will love to see your enthusiasm in service to Him.
It won’t hurt to see how you submit to leadership.
It is even more delightful when I know the leader is way younger than you.
No, I’m not negative.
I just want to see you in life’s different seasons, I just want to know you in life’s many phases.
I just want to enjoy the many flavours with you, I just want to see you in all the moments it brings.
Even if seeing you in all of these isn’t sufficient, I would still like to see regardless.
I’m not in a hurry to walk down the aisle with you. Let me see how you even handle that.
